We primarily serve clients travelling from Europe, the United States, Africa, and other international markets who are looking for an alternative to high treatment costs, long waiting times, or limited access to specialised medical care in their home countries.

Our purpose is simple:

We Start With You Every medical journey is different.

That is why Affordia Health does not begin with a hospital. We begin with the client's individual situation, requirements, preferences, budget, and desired level of support.

We identify suitable healthcare options within the regions where we can provide reliable local assistance and help clients navigate the available possibilities.

Our goal is not simply to find a hospital.

Our goal is to help create a medical journey that combines appropriate healthcare access with the practical support an international client needs while travelling in China.

Independent by Design Affordia Health currently operates as an independent service provider.

We are not tied to a predetermined hospital network, and we do not automatically direct every client to the same institutions.

We search for suitable options according to the individual case, available treatment capacity, medical specialisation, location, accessibility, cost, and the support we can provide in that region.

If Affordia Health establishes a commercial partnership with a hospital or healthcare provider for a particular service in the future, that relationship may be disclosed transparently where relevant.

Our clients should understand why an option is being presented to them.

Quality Matters For hospital-based treatment, our focus is on China's Grade 3A (Tier 3A ) hospitals, representing the highest level within China's hospital classification system.

However, a hospital's classification is only the beginning.

Different Grade 3A hospitals have different strengths. A major comprehensive hospital may provide excellent general tertiary care, while another institution may have a highly specialised department with extensive experience in a particular procedure or condition.

For this reason, we consider not only the hospital itself but also the relevant speciality, department, available expertise, accessibility, and suitability for the individual case.

Affordable Does Not Mean Lower Standards The name Affordia Health reflects an important part of our mission: helping people explore healthcare that may be financially more accessible without making affordability the only criterion.

Treatment costs in China can, depending on the procedure, hospital, department, treatment complexity and level of service, differ substantially from those in other countries.

We therefore do not promise a fixed percentage of savings.

Instead, we help clients understand the available options and expected costs before they decide whether travelling to China makes sense for them.

Affordability matters. Quality matters more. The right solution requires both.

More Than Hospital Access Travelling abroad for healthcare involves much more than arranging an appointment.

A client may need help communicating with a hospital, preparing documentation, understanding the process, arranging accommodation, organising transportation, navigating an unfamiliar city, communicating in Chinese, or simply having someone local to contact when something unexpected happens.

Affordia Health can provide support throughout this journey.

Depending on the services selected, this may include hospital and clinic selection, treatment coordination, document preparation, travel assistance, visa preparation support, accommodation assistance, airport pickup, interpretation and local assistance during the client's stay.

Clients can choose individual services or request support for their complete medical journey.

You choose the level of support you need.

Local Support in China One of the foundations of Affordia Health is our local presence.

Where our services are available, we aim to ensure that international clients are not left to navigate China entirely on their own.

Depending on the selected service, our local support can begin when the client arrives at the airport and continue through transportation, accommodation, hospital visits, interpretation and practical assistance during the stay.

If an unexpected practical problem occurs during a client's medical journey, our local team can remain a point of contact within the scope of the services we provide.

You may travel far for healthcare. You should not have to navigate the journey alone.

You Remain in Control Affordia Health is a service and coordination company.

We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and we do not replace doctors, hospitals or other licensed healthcare professionals.

Medical decisions and medical services remain between the client and the healthcare provider.

We also believe clients should maintain control over their own journey.

Wherever practicable, clients pay hospitals and other thirdparty providers directly. Treatment payments do not need to pass through Affordia Health simply because we helped arrange access.

Clients can purchase their own flights and retain control over their travel arrangements and healthcare expenditure.

Affordia Health charges for the services Affordia Health provides.

This separation keeps our role clear: we help clients research, organise, coordinate and navigate their medical journey while healthcare professionals remain responsible for healthcare.

Our clients can communicate with us internationally through familiar communication channels, including WhatsApp, while communication and local coordination in China can also be supported through WeChat.

We first listen to what the client needs and determine whether and how we may be able to assist.

If the client decides to proceed, the required services, expected fees and next steps can be agreed before the journey begins.

There is no requirement to purchase a complete package.
