Affordia Health makes the process easier by helping you research, organise and coordinate your medical journey in China while keeping you in control of your decisions and expenses.

You can use a single Affordia Health service or ask us to support your complete medical journey.

1. Start With a Free Consultation Your journey begins with a free initial consultation.

Tell us what you are looking for, what medical service or treatment you are considering, your preferred timeframe, your approximate budget, and any other requirements that may be important to you.

You can contact us internationally through WhatsApp.

Communication and coordination in China can also be supported through WeChat.

The initial consultation helps us understand whether Affordia Health can assist with your particular request.

There is no obligation to continue after the initial consultation.

2. Tell Us What You Need If you would like to explore your options further, we collect the information necessary to understand your request.

Depending on the case, this may include existing medical reports, examination results, imaging, previous diagnoses, treatment history or other relevant documentation.

Where medical evaluation is required, this information is reviewed by the appropriate hospital, doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.

Affordia Health does not diagnose medical conditions or make medical decisions on behalf of clients.

Our role is to help organise the process and communication.

3. We Search for Suitable Options We research suitable healthcare options in China based on your individual requirements.

Our search may consider:

the required medical speciality, hospital and department expertise, availability, expected waiting time, treatment possibilities, estimated treatment costs, location, language and international-patient capabilities, your budget and preferences, and our ability to provide reliable local support in the region.

For hospital-based treatment, our primary focus is on Grade 3A (Tier 3A ) hospitals.

Hospital classification alone, however, does not determine which hospital is best for a particular case. Different hospitals and individual departments may have different areas of expertise.

We look beyond the hospital name to find an option appropriate to the individual case.

4. You Review Your Options Where multiple suitable possibilities are available, we aim to help you understand the available options before you decide how to proceed.

Depending on the case and available information, this may include differences in:

hospital, department or speciality, availability, proposed treatment pathway, estimated costs, expected timeframe, location, and available support services.

You remain free to decide whether you want to proceed.

The final choice remains yours.

5. Choose Only the Services You Need You do not have to purchase a complete medical travel package.

Affordia Health operates on a flexible service model.

You may ask us only to help identify and contact an appropriate hospital, or you may choose additional services such as treatment coordination, travel assistance, visa preparation support, accommodation assistance, airport pickup, interpretation or local support.

You can also choose our Complete Medical Journey service if you would like us to coordinate the journey from preparation through your stay in China.

6. Clear Service Agreement and Fees Once you decide which Affordia Health services you would like to use, we confirm the scope of those services and the applicable Affordia Health service fees.

You know what you are purchasing before we proceed.

Our service fees are separate from hospital treatment costs, flights, accommodation and other third-party expenses unless specifically agreed otherwise.

Affordia Health charges you for the services we provide — not for medical treatment provided by hospitals or doctors.

7. Hospital and Treatment Coordination If you decide to proceed with a healthcare provider, we can help establish communication and coordinate the next steps.

Depending on the selected service, this may include:

communicating with the hospital, forwarding relevant documentation, helping arrange appointments, coordinating proposed dates, requesting available cost information, assisting with communication, and helping organise the practical steps required before arrival.

Medical recommendations, diagnosis, treatment decisions and clinical responsibility remain with the relevant licensed healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions.

8. You Pay for Your Healthcare Directly We believe clients should retain control over their healthcare expenditure.

Wherever practicable, hospital and treatment costs are paid directly by the client to the healthcare provider.

Affordia Health does not need to receive your treatment payment simply because we helped coordinate your journey.

Similarly, you may purchase your own airline tickets and independently pay for other third-party services.

This keeps the financial relationship transparent:

You pay the healthcare provider for healthcare.

You pay Affordia Health for Affordia Health services.

9. Visa and Travel Preparation Where a visa is required, Affordia Health can help you understand the preparation process and organise relevant supporting information available within the scope of our service.

However, you remain the visa applicant and submit your own application.

Visa decisions are made exclusively by the relevant authorities, and Affordia Health cannot guarantee approval.

You also remain in control of your travel arrangements and can purchase your own flights.

10. Preparing for Your Arrival in China Before departure, we coordinate the services you have selected.

Depending on your package, this may include:

hospital arrangements, appointment confirmation, accommodation assistance, airport pickup, local transportation, interpreter arrangements, hospital visit coordination, and local contact information.

The objective is simple:

You should know what happens when you arrive before you board your flight.

11. Arrival and Airport Pickup If airport pickup is included in your selected services, our local team or arranged transportation will meet you after your arrival.

Depending on your itinerary, you may be transferred to your accommodation, hospital or another agreed destination.

For many international clients, arriving in China may be their first experience in the country.

Having local support from the beginning can make that transition significantly easier.

12. Your Healthcare in China Your medical care is provided directly by the hospital, doctors and other qualified healthcare professionals.

Affordia Health remains your coordination and assistance partner.

Depending on the services you selected, we can assist with practical communication, interpretation, transportation, appointments and other non-clinical aspects of your stay.

We do not interfere with the clinical relationship between you and your healthcare provider.

Doctors provide healthcare. We help make the journey around it work.

13. Local Support During Your Stay Our service does not necessarily end when you reach the hospital.

If you have purchased any Affordia Health service connected with your medical journey, we remain available as a local point of contact during your stay within the scope of our support.

Unexpected practical situations can occur when travelling internationally.

Language difficulties, transportation changes, appointment questions or other logistical problems can be much harder to manage in an unfamiliar country.

Our local presence is designed to give clients an additional layer of practical support.

You are travelling independently — but you do not have to navigate China alone.

14. Return Home and Follow-Up When your healthcare journey in China is complete, we can assist with the final practical steps according to the services you selected.

Where appropriate, additional services may also be available after your return, including:

follow-up coordination, communication with healthcare providers, medical document assistance, online consultations, and additional treatment planning.

Your relationship with Affordia Health can therefore continue when further coordination is useful.
